Modular applications hosted on the Non-RT RIC within the SMO that execute automated AI training, radio analytics, and policy orchestration.
Technical Explanation
rApps operate on slower, network-wide timescales to perform strategic optimization. By ingesting massive historical performance telemetry via O1/O2 interfaces, rApps detect chronic interference patterns, train federated machine learning models, dynamically reallocate spectrum across slices, and feed updated inference policies to edge xApps via the A1 interface.
