Technical Explanation
Holographic telepresence is an iconic 6G immersive service. 6G terminals integrate specialized light-field decompression accelerators capable of processing gigabit-per-second point-cloud streams (such as V-PCC and G-PCC standards). The terminal pipeline decodes multi-viewpoint parallax data and drives diffractive spatial light modulators (SLM) or autostereoscopic micro-LED displays, enabling users to view genuine 3D content without wearing specialized 3D glasses.
