<5 ms End-to-End XR Rendering Latency Guarantee

The architectural guarantee that the time elapsed between a human moving their head and the display updating with matching perspective never exceeds 5 milliseconds.

Technical Explanation

If the delay between when a user rotates their head and when the virtual perspective updates (Motion-to-Photon latency) exceeds 15-20 milliseconds, the human vestibular system detects the mismatch, causing severe nausea, dizziness, and cyber-sickness. 6G guarantees an end-to-end Motion-to-Photon latency of less than 5 milliseconds across sensor capture, 6G-Uu transmission, edge GPU rendering, and display scan-out.
