Technical Explanation
While 5G slicing was relatively static and configured over minutes to hours, 6G Extreme Slicing creates, scales, migrates, and destroys end-to-end slices (spanning compute, radio beams, optical transport, and security crypto-suites) in sub-second intervals. Deep reinforcement learning monitors live slice SLA metrics and autonomously renegotiates radio resource blocks, beam widths, and MEC processor allocations to uphold stringent service commitments.
