Intent-Based Networking in 6G replaces manual CLI scripts and low-level imperative configuration with natural language or declarative intent specifications. Using Large Language Models (LLMs) and formal verification engines, the 6G intent ingestion layer parses goals (such as 'provide sub-millisecond tactile haptic slice with 99.9999% availability along Route 101'), validates feasibility against real-time network state, derives optimal configurations across RAN, transport, and core, and continuously maintains the intent via closed-loop monitoring.
