Technical Explanation
Deterministic Networking (DetNet) bridges 6G radio scheduling with end-to-end transport and core infrastructure. By synchronizing all hops to sub-nanosecond precision using IEEE 1588 PTP and implementing cyclic queuing and forwarding (IEEE 802.1Qch), 6G DetNet guarantees that time-critical packets (such as tele-surgery video frames or smart grid control pulses) will arrive within a deterministic microsecond deadline regardless of background network congestion.
