Technical Explanation
In ultra-dense environments—such as international airport terminals, packed sports arenas, high-tech convention centers, and automated factories—thousands of people and robots consume terabytes simultaneously. 6G targets an Area Traffic Capacity of up to 1 Gbps/m² (a 100x increase over 5G's 10 Mbps/m²). This spatial density is unlocked by deploying hundreds of sub-THz pico-cells, optical wireless LiFi luminaires, and intelligent metasurfaces covering room walls and ceilings.
