GBR
Guaranteed Bit Rate QoS Flow
QoS flow type where the network reserves dedicated radio bandwidth to guarantee a minimum bit rate (GFBR).
Technical Explanation
GBR flows (e.g. 5QI 1 for VoNR, 5QI 2 for video) reserve dedicated radio and transport resources through admission control. The network guarantees the Guaranteed Flow Bit Rate (GFBR) even during peak cell congestion, and policies traffic exceeding the Maximum Flow Bit Rate (MFBR).
