Non-Guaranteed Bit Rate QoS Flow
Best-effort QoS flow type where the network provides no guaranteed minimum bandwidth allocation.
Technical Explanation
Non-GBR flows (e.g. 5QI 6, 7, 8, 9) are used for general Internet browsing, email, and social media. Traffic is served on a best-effort basis subject to radio congestion and rate-limited by Session-AMBR and UE-AMBR. When radio resources become congested, non-GBR packets experience buffering and latency.

- Subject to Session-AMBR and UE-AMBR aggregated bit rate policing
- Does not reserve dedicated radio resources in the gNodeB scheduler
