Technical Explanation

A 5QI (values 1 to 255) references a standardized 3GPP QoS profile: Resource Type (GBR, Non-GBR, Delay-Critical GBR), Priority Level (1 to 100), Packet Delay Budget (PDB), Packet Error Rate (PER), and Maximum Data Burst Volume. It guarantees consistent packet handling across gNodeB schedulers and UPF policers.
