Technical Explanation
Packet Delay Budget (PDB) defines the 98% percentile delay target for packets transiting across the 5G radio interface and backhaul (between UE and N6 termination). It ranges from 5 ms for industrial automation (5QI 85) to 300 ms for background downloads (5QI 9), driving scheduler prioritization algorithms.
