Streaming dynamic 3D geometric meshes and point clouds containing millions of spatial coordinates and color textures per second over cellular networks.
Technical Explanation
Traditional video streams flat 2D pixel grids. Volumetric Streaming transmits dynamic 3D geometry: millions of 3D spatial points (x, y, z) paired with color, surface normal vectors, and material reflectance properties. 6G utilizes edge-accelerated Video-based Point Cloud Compression (V-PCC) and neural autoencoders to stream 60 frames per second of complex 3D scenes to mobile AR devices with sub-frame decoding latency.
