Technical Explanation
Visible Light Communications (VLC), commercially known as Li-Fi, turns overhead room lighting fixtures into high-speed optical access points. By modulating the intensity of solid-state LED or micro-LED lamps at frequencies imperceptible to the human eye, Li-Fi delivers multi-gigabit data streams to photodetectors embedded in laptops and smartphones, providing massive bandwidth in congested conference halls and lecture theaters.

- Zero electromagnetic interference allowing safe use in aircraft and intensive care units
