Technical Explanation
The emergence of electric air taxis (eVTOLs) operating in low-altitude urban skies requires a 3D telecommunications network. Traditional cellular networks point antennas downward to serve ground pedestrians. 6G provides dedicated 3D aerial beamforming (up to 3,000 meters altitude) via SAGIN, base stations, and HAPS, providing autonomous air taxis with high-bandwidth telemetry, passenger video streaming, and collision avoidance.
