Autonomous Mobility Swarms

Collective Perception V2X & Drone Fleets

Coordinated swarms of autonomous cars, delivery drones, and warehouse robots sharing raw sensor streams to navigate collectively with zero collisions.

Technical Explanation

While current autonomous vehicles operate as isolated 'islands' relying only on their own cameras and lidars, 6G Autonomous Mobility Swarms operate as a single distributed super-intelligence. Vehicles and drones share raw radar, camera, and trajectory intent data over sub-0.5ms 6G Sidelink (PC5-6G) and Sub-THz links. A vehicle traveling three cars behind a blind corner sees through the eyes of the lead vehicle, navigating dense intersections at full speed without stopping at traffic lights.

Key Functions

  • High-throughput, sub-0.5 millisecond vehicle-to-everything (V2X) sensor sharing
  • Autonomous cooperative navigation across hundreds of coordinated drones and vehicles
  • Seeing through obstacles by sharing live camera and radar feeds from surrounding vehicles
  • Dynamic aerial airspace deconfliction for thousands of urban delivery drones
  • Eliminating traffic congestion and collisions through synchronized platoon driving
