Technical Explanation
SAGIN represents the realization of truly ubiquitous 100% global connectivity. Rather than treating satellite communications as a proprietary niche, 6G natively integrates Low Earth Orbit (LEO) mega-constellations, High Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS) in the stratosphere, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), terrestrial gNBs, and maritime buoy gateways into a single unified protocol stack. Handover between a terrestrial micro-cell and a satellite passing at 27,000 km/h occurs with zero packet loss.
