Terminal Multi-Path BBR Controller

Bottleneck Bandwidth and RTT Multi-Path Transport Engine on UE

Transport layer protocol engine running on the mobile terminal dynamically balancing gigabit traffic across 5G, 6G, Wi-Fi 8, and satellite links.

Technical Explanation

6G terminals maintain concurrent active links across multiple wireless technologies (6G sub-THz, 5G mid-band, Wi-Fi 8, and LEO satellite). The Multi-Path BBR (Bottleneck Bandwidth and Round-trip propagation time) controller measures model-based capacity and queuing delay on each path in real time. Rather than relying on loss-based congestion control, it allocates packets to match the instantaneous bottleneck bandwidth of each interface, avoiding bufferbloat and packet reordering latency.
