Unified Multi-TRP Virtual Super-Cell

A large virtual cell composed of dozens of coordinating Transmission Reception Points (TRPs) sharing a single cell ID to eliminate mobility handovers.

Technical Explanation

In conventional networks, moving between small micro-cells requires frequent handovers, generating signaling overhead and risking dropped connections. A 6G Super-Cell pools dozens of street-level lamp-post radios, building antennas, and micro-towers under a single unified Cell Identity (PCI). As users walk or drive through the area, the network dynamically adjusts which radio heads transmit to them without triggering any RRC mobility handovers.
