Technical Explanation
Rain droplets have physical dimensions comparable to the wavelengths of Sub-THz radiation (1 to 3 mm), causing intense Mie scattering and signal drops exceeding 20-40 dB/km during heavy downpours. The Rain Attenuation Mitigator continuously ingests real-time weather radar data and link quality metrics. When rain storms hit, it autonomously triggers multi-band carrier switching (diverting high-priority traffic to rain-resilient FR3 or Sub-6GHz bands) and boosts beam power to preserve link continuity.
