Technical Explanation
The Network Exposure Function (NEF) bridges the internal telecom core with external software applications. In 6G, NEF 2.0 is designed for autonomous AI agents, smart city algorithms, and connected robotic fleets. Through standardized OpenAPI/gRPC endpoints, autonomous drones and vehicles directly request instantaneous QoS boosts, retrieve real-time ISAC obstacle maps, and program deterministic latency budgets via secure, tokenized smart contracts.
