N310

Technical Explanation

The physical layer evaluates PDCCH BLER against threshold Qout. Each time BLER exceeds Qout, an out-of-sync indication is sent to RRC. When N310 consecutive out-of-sync indications are received (values in {n1, n2, n3, n4, n6, n8, n10, n20}), RRC starts timer T310 to supervise potential link failure.
