Low-Density Parity-Check Base Graph 2

Low-rate LDPC matrix optimized for small transport blocks (TBS <= 3824 bits) and robust cell-edge data transfer.

Technical Explanation

Base Graph 2 is tailored for smaller block lengths (up to 3840 bits) and lower code rates (R as low as 0.15). It provides maximum error-correcting gain in difficult radio environments, serving small packets, VoIP speech frames, and cell-edge retransmissions.
