Sub-Microsecond Radio Physical Layer Preemption for Critical Touch Packets
Hardware mechanism that instantly halts non-critical video or file downloads mid-symbol to inject urgent surgical or safety touch packets.
Technical Explanation
In 6G shared channels, a base station may be halfway through transmitting a massive 4K video transport block when an urgent robotic surgical feedback or vehicle collision alert arrives. Waiting for the video transmission to finish would violate the sub-0.1 ms latency deadline. The Tactile Packet Priority Pre-Emptor punctures and halts the background transmission mid-symbol, immediately injecting the critical tactile packet into the air interface with zero queuing delay.
