Paging-Free Reachability

Deterministic Micro-Mesh Device Reachability

Eliminating traditional battery-draining cellular broadcast paging by predicting user device locations via continuous AI mobility modeling.

Technical Explanation

In 4G and 5G, when a call or data arrives for an idle device, base stations across an entire tracking area (comprising hundreds of towers) broadcast high-power paging messages across radio channels, congesting spectrum and waking up thousands of devices. 6G Paging-Free Reachability uses AI trajectory models and real-time ISAC radar tracking to predict the exact micro-cell and beam location of devices, directing packets specifically to that antenna without broadcasting blind network-wide pages.

Key Functions

  • Elimination of high-power radio broadcast paging across wide tracking areas
  • Deep predictive tracking of device mobility trajectories using AI and ISAC radar
  • Significant reduction in idle radio spectrum congestion and control channel overhead
  • Extending smartphone and IoT battery life by eliminating false wake-up paging evaluations
  • Instantaneous sub-millisecond session resumption from idle sleep states
