Technical Explanation

Oceans cover 70% of Earth's surface and have historically been complete telecommunications deserts. 6G Maritime Buoy Nodes float on ocean surfaces, harvesting wave and solar energy. They establish acoustic or optical communication links with underwater autonomous submarines and sensor grids below, while communicating via 6G-Uu with cargo ships and relaying aggregated oceanic data up to LEO satellite constellations.
