LDPC-6G
High-Throughput Protograph Low-Density Parity-Check Codes
Massively parallel error-correcting codes delivering terabits-per-second decoding throughput for high-speed 6G data plane communications.
Technical Explanation
5G LDPC codes provided multi-gigabit throughput, but scaling to 100 Gbps - 1 Tbps in 6G would require excessive silicon area and power dissipation using legacy decoders. LDPC-6G employs multi-edge protograph designs with fully parallel hardware decoders. Operating with unrolled pipelined belief propagation, LDPC-6G decoders achieve terabit-per-second decoding throughput with sub-5 nanosecond internal latency.
Key Functions
- Terabit-per-second decoding throughput supporting extreme Sub-THz data rates
- Pipelined unrolled belief propagation architectures minimizing internal hardware latency
- Flexible rate-matching supporting code rates from 1/5 up to 9/10 across dynamic channels
- Near-zero error floor performance essential for hyper-reliable HRLLC transmission
- Standardized primary error-correcting code for the 6G high-throughput user plane
