Technical Explanation
In 6G, thousands of Distributed Radio Units (D-RUs) are installed on low lampposts, bus stops, and building walls within easy physical reach of vandals or spies. Hardware Tamper-Proof Distributed RUs incorporate continuous piezoelectric mesh sensors, light sensors, and micro-switches inside the casing. If an attacker drills into or opens the enclosure, the system triggers active cryptographic zeroization—erasing all secret keys within nanoseconds before physical memory probing can occur.
