Edge Enabler Client (6G Edge Native)

A software agent embedded inside user devices and autonomous vehicles that discovers and negotiates access to localized low-latency edge computing services.

Technical Explanation

The Edge Enabler Client (EEC) resides in the device operating system, serving as the interface between user applications (like AR games or autonomous driving software) and the cellular edge cloud. The EEC queries the cellular network for the closest edge compute hosts, monitors live round-trip latency, and triggers seamless application state migration when the user travels between different edge server zones.
