Dynamic Mesh Core
Non-Terrestrial Dynamic Topology Core Mesh
A decentralized core network architecture adapted for non-terrestrial topologies with rapidly shifting LEO satellite nodes and variable links.
Technical Explanation
Terrestrial core networks assume fixed, permanent fiber links between data centers. When LEO satellites, stratospheric balloons (HAPS), and maritime nodes host core network functions, the underlying network topology changes every few minutes. The 6G Dynamic Mesh Core implements delay-tolerant networking (DTN), distributed consensus, and dynamic topology routing to ensure seamless control plane continuity as satellites orbit overhead at 7.5 km/s.
Key Functions
- Autonomous self-reconfiguring core topology adapting to continuous satellite orbital movement
- Delay-Tolerant Networking (DTN) and bundle protocol support for deep space and maritime links
- Distributed consensus across orbital nodes without relying on terrestrial ground stations
- Seamless session migration between terrestrial towers and overhead LEO satellites
- Decentralized subscriber registry synchronization across multi-layer SAGIN constellations
