Technical Explanation
Radio waves attenuate rapidly in seawater, making traditional wireless communication impossible underwater. Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) utilize blue-green optical lasers for high-speed short-range transfers and acoustic modems for long-range signaling. Surfacing periodically or docking at 6G Maritime Buoys, AUVs upload oceanographic climate data, tsunami monitoring metrics, and submarine pipeline inspection video to 6G satellite networks.
