Artificial Noise Injection

Constructive/Destructive RF Beam Nulling

Transmitting deliberate jamming noise into all spatial directions except the narrow line-of-sight angle of the authorized user device.

Technical Explanation

To guarantee that unauthorized eavesdroppers cannot intercept communications, 6G base stations transmit Artificial Noise (AN) simultaneously with user data. Utilizing the null-space of the authorized user's channel matrix, the base station projects high-power pseudo-random jamming noise into every spatial direction in the cell. The authorized user experiences zero noise (because the beam is mathematically orthogonal to their channel), while all eavesdroppers are completely blinded by noise.
