Technical Explanation

ARM processors dominate edge computing and cellular base station hardware. ARM Confidential Compute Architecture (CCA) introduces dynamic 'Realms'—isolated execution environments created on demand by an untrusted hypervisor. A 6G baseband unit running on an ARM Neoverse chip can spin up a Realm for a third-party enterprise xApp; the Realm's code and memory are cryptographically protected from the base station operator's own operating system.
