Technical Explanation
Rogue base stations (commonly known as IMSI-catchers or Stingrays) masquerade as legitimate cellular towers to intercept citizen communications, extract location coordinates, and downgrade phones to insecure legacy modes. 6G Anti-IMSI Catcher monitors base station broadcast parameters, verifying cryptographic broadcast signatures signed by certified national spectrum authorities. If an unverified tower attempts to connect, the device immediately drops the signal and alerts the user.
