CLI-SRS
Cross-Link Interference Sounding Reference Signal
Measurement mechanism where a UE measures SRS transmitted by a neighboring UE to quantify cross-link interference.
Technical Explanation
In 3GPP Rel-16 dynamic TDD, a downlink-receiving UE can be configured to measure SRS-RSRP from a neighboring transmitting UE on specific resources. This directly measures UE-to-UE interference, enabling the gNodeB to dynamically coordinate slot assignments or beam directions.
Key Functions
- Measures SRS-RSRP from interfering neighboring UEs directly
- Enables precise gNodeB coordination to eliminate cross-link interference
- Supports flexible DL/UL switching in dense local indoor networks
