Technical Explanation
Many chemical compounds, organic molecules, and gases exhibit unique electromagnetic absorption fingerprints ('molecular resonance lines') in the 100 GHz to 1 THz region. By aiming the smartphone at food, liquid, or ambient air and emitting frequency-swept sub-THz probing signals, the receiver measures the absorption spectrum. On-device chemometric AI algorithms match the spectral dip against reference databases to detect food spoilage, pesticide residues, skin hydration, or counterfeit medications.
