Frequency-Dependent Spherical Delay Calibration for Wideband ELAA

Digital signal processing module pre-distorting wideband signals to ensure spherical near-field focal points remain razor-sharp across all sub-carriers.

Technical Explanation

In wideband near-field communications, beam squint not only deflects the angular direction of the beam, but also shifts its 3D focal distance along the depth axis. The Near-Field Beam-Squint Precompensator applies frequency-dependent delay compensations across sub-carrier groups. By calculating exact phase curvature offsets across both frequency and space, it ensures all sub-carriers converge onto the exact identical 3D spatial coordinate simultaneously.
