Continuous-Aperture Electromagnetic Holography Antenna Surface

Ultimate antenna evolution where discrete antennas are replaced by continuous, dense electromagnetic surfaces manipulating the optical-like continuous field.

Technical Explanation

Holographic MIMO represents the physical limit of antenna technology. Rather than using discrete, spaced antenna elements (like standard MIMO), H-MIMO deploys a quasi-continuous surface containing millions of sub-wavelength metallic or metamaterial pixels. By applying the principles of optical holography to radio frequencies, it synthesizes customized continuous electromagnetic field distributions across space, maximizing spatial degrees of freedom and multiplexing capacity.
