Technical Explanation
With 6G employing Extremely Large Aperture Arrays (ELAA) with thousands of antenna elements, feedback of full Channel State Information (CSI) matrices would overwhelm the cellular uplink channel. The on-device CSI compression autoencoder runs a lightweight deep encoder network on the mobile device. It transforms high-dimensional complex channel matrices into a compact low-dimensional latent vector (compressing feedback by 20x to 50x) which the 6G base station decoder reconstructs with near-perfect fidelity.
