Environment-Adaptive Physical Layer Modulation

A physical layer that dynamically alters modulation constellations, waveforms, and pilots based on real-time awareness of user activity, speed, and weather.

Technical Explanation

Classical physical layers apply static modulation tables (QPSK up to 4096-QAM) determined solely by signal-to-noise ratio. Context-Aware PHY incorporates contextual intelligence: it knows whether a user is walking inside an office, driving on a highway, or standing in torrential rain. The physical layer dynamically switches between OTFS (for high speed), Sub-THz SC-FDE (for heavy rain), and learned neural constellations to optimize energy efficiency and throughput.
