Zero-Knowledge Proof Biometric Verification Engine on 6G UEs

On-device cryptographic engine proving user identity and authorization without revealing raw biometric templates to network servers.

Technical Explanation

To prevent identity theft and privacy violations across 6G network services, the terminal runs a Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) authenticator. When the user unlocks the device or authorizes a high-value financial transaction over 6G, the handset verifies facial or iris biometrics locally inside a secure enclave. It then generates a cryptographic zero-knowledge proof (such as a zk-SNARK) sent to the 6G core network, mathematically proving authorization without transmitting raw facial vectors or biometric hashes over the air.
