Technical Explanation

A Stand-alone Non-Public Network (SNPN) is an entirely independent private 5G deployment. It operates with a dedicated Network Identifier (NID) alongside a private PLMN ID. SNPNs do not rely on public telco core networks, providing complete data sovereignty and air-gapped security for smart factories and defense installations.
