Numerology mu=4 uses 240 kHz subcarrier spacing, yielding 16 slots per 1 ms subframe (62.5 microsecond slot duration). In 3GPP specifications, 240 kHz SCS is reserved primarily for SSB beam sweeping and initial cell search in FR2 mmWave spectrum, compressing SSB duration to enable rapid 64-beam sweeps.
