Fast coordinated scheduling mechanism where an interfering radio panel momentarily mutes specific resource blocks to protect high-priority packets on nearby cells.
Technical Explanation
When a cell-edge user receives critical low-latency control signaling, interference from an adjacent base station panel can cause block errors. Rel-18 Dynamic Point Blanking (DPB) coordinates across multi-TRPs in sub-millisecond intervals: the interfering TRP blanks its transmission on designated time-frequency blocks, creating an interference-free transmission slot for the victim terminal.
