Beamforming where each individual antenna element possesses its own dedicated RF transceiver and baseband DSP chain.
Technical Explanation
Digital beamforming provides independent baseband amplitude and phase control over every individual antenna element. This allows simultaneous formation of multiple independent beams in arbitrary directions, dynamic null steering, and true spatial multiplexing (MIMO rank > 1) across users, standard in sub-6 GHz massive MIMO (e.g. 64T64R).
