CSI Beam RSRP Reporting
Feedback procedure where the UE reports measured RSRP and indices of the best candidate beams to the gNodeB.
Technical Explanation
The UE reports the L highest-quality beams (where L in {1, 2, 3, 4}) via PUCCH or PUSCH. The report contains the SSB Resource Indicator (SSBRI) or CSI-RS Resource Indicator (CRI) and corresponding quantization-coded RSRP values (in 1 dB steps), giving the scheduler direct visibility to switch beams.

- Feeds back SSBRI or CRI representing preferred beam indices
- Reports quantified beam RSRP values in 1 dB steps
- Triggers dynamic beam switching via MAC CE or DCI
