Secure Multi-Party Computation for Telecom

Cryptographic protocols allowing competing telecom operators to compute joint analytics (such as fraud detection) without exposing their proprietary data to each other.

Technical Explanation

Competing telecom carriers often need to collaborate to detect nationwide fraud rings, track cross-carrier cyber attacks, or optimize border spectrum coordination. However, antitrust laws and commercial confidentiality forbid sharing raw customer logs. Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC) splits private datasets into encrypted mathematical shares distributed across carriers. The carriers jointly compute the result (e.g., identifying a fraudulent SIM ring) without any carrier seeing another carrier's raw data.
