Direct Satellite Emergency SOS Ingress
Zero-Configuration Satellite Emergency Beacon Protocol on 6G UEs
Standardized emergency protocol allowing any 6G phone without a carrier SIM or cell signal to broadcast life-saving SOS alerts directly to satellites.
Technical Explanation
When hikers, mountaineers, or disaster victims are stranded outside cellular coverage, surviving is a matter of hours. The Direct Satellite Emergency SOS Ingress protocol is built directly into all 6G baseband chips. Even without a SIM card, subscription, or cellular signal, the phone transmits high-priority burst packets to passing LEO satellites, relaying exact GPS coordinates, medical history, and SOS text to international search and rescue centers.
Key Functions
- Transmits life-saving emergency SOS messages directly to satellites from any standard phone
- Operates without active cellular service, roaming agreements, or physical SIM cards
- Transmits vital medical profile details and exact GNSS distress coordinates
- Integrated into global emergency rescue networks (COSPAS-SARSAT and 911)
