Technical Explanation
RRCReconfiguration is the universal tool for managing active connected UEs. It configures Data Radio Bearers (DRBs), Secondary Cells (SCells), Secondary Cell Groups (SCG in Dual Connectivity), measurement reporting configurations, and handover execution commands.
Key Functions
- Instantiates and modifies user plane Data Radio Bearers (DRBs)
- Configures measurement objects and reporting events (A1-A6, B1-B2)
- Delivers handover commands and carrier aggregation configurations
