Technical Explanation
Format 3 employs 5 kHz subcarrier spacing for the 839-length sequence, spanning 24 PRBs (4.32 MHz). The fourfold increase in subcarrier spacing makes Format 3 exceptionally robust against severe Doppler shifts experienced by high-speed trains travelling up to 500 km/h.
