Technical Explanation
The CHF replaces legacy separate OCS and CDF nodes in 4G. It exposes the Nchf service-based interface to SMF, AMF, and NEF, providing unified quota management, real-time balance reservation, and event-based charging records for multi-slice and multi-tier 5G services.
